About Us

	WikiOcean is a participatory, non-proprietary organization where professionals join on revenue-sharing model as explained in the wecosystem.

WikiOcean started from May 2007. The operations were started at Hadapsar with 20 people joining as peers. The model for WikiOcean of Revenue-sharing is largely influenced from the Free Software Movement in the software industry, introduced by Mr. Paritosh Pungaliya, Catalyst (M.D). Then Dr. Nagarjuna (another Catalyst) further helped in refining the concept. As of right now, there are 60+ peers who are working on different technologies according to their interest, experience and commitment. We mainly work on free software technologies.
